In a world where prices seem to rise by the day, there are some things that will always give you great value. This year, the Rand Show’s family-friendly pricing structure means a R1-million saving for families, and over R500 value in every ticket.
If you’re looking for affordable, top-quality fun for the whole family this Easter, just head over to the Rand Show. For the second year running, the Show’s new managers have kept prices low while pushing value sky high.
Just two years ago, children as young as 12 paid full adult price for admission, while now children aged six to 16 pay just R25 a ticket, and kids under six enter for free. Adult ticket prices are R75, while pensioners are charged R40. So for a family of four, a day packed with entertainment and fun could cost between R150 and R200.
But it’s not just the price of the ticket that’s great news. It’s the phenomenal value packed into each ticket that’s worth shouting about.
The Rand Show 2011 has secured a line-up of top shows and performances to keep every member of the family entertained.
Your Rand Show ticket gives you free entry to daily SA Lipizzaner performances and two-hour-long shows presented by Brian Boswell’s Circus, complete with big cats, elephants and a human cannonball. That’s already over R200’s worth of value, and that’s just the first two items on the daily schedule.
Now throw in free military displays, motorcycle and biking stunt displays in the X-treme Show, the gastronomic showmanship to be seen in the SA Chefs Theatre, a petting zoo, the Ster-Kinekor gaming world…and those are just some of the highlights.
Look out too for the Rand Show Easter Bunny wearing his ‘F’-for-free T-shirt and you’ll find even more free entertainment for your family, like the synthetic skating rink and inflatable slides.
There’ll also be thousands of square metres of contemporary, lifestyle-focused exhibits, with great deals on offer and over R350 000 in prizes to be won from exhibitors.
The Show kicks off on Friday, 22 April, and runs for 11 days to 2 May 2011. Gates open each day at 10am and close at 6pm, although the Show will remain open until 8pm.
Tickets are available at the gates or through Computicket. (Rand Show management is absorbing the additional Computicket surcharge, so tickets are the same price whether pre-booked or bought at the gate.)
At such affordable prices, and with such unsurpassed value, you and your family can’t af-ford to miss out on the excitement of the Rand Show this Easter.
