Ricoh SA awarded DocuWare Diamond Club membership for fifth consecutive year
Ricoh SA has, for the fifth consecutive year, been awarded membership of DocuWare’s EMEA Diamond Club.
Membership is reserved for the top 10 resellers in the region.
“We are continuing to explore the opportunity in helping businesses, particularly SMBs, in the South African market to digitalise their processes,” says Jurgen de Jongh, head of National Office Services in Ricoh SA’s Enterprise Services Group. “Document management services are helping enterprises of all sizes to bridge the gap between hardware and software that enables technologies such as cloud, data analytics, machine learning, and more.”
Ricoh SA was awarded membership for its commitment to providing DocuWare solutions and services in Southern Africa.
De Jongh says 80% of these solutions are currently on premise with 20% being in the cloud.
“Demand for cloud-based solutions is definitely increasing but, while telecommunications and networking infrastructure in South Africa has improved extensively in the past three years, there are certain geographies where access may hinder adoption.”
He says that Ricoh SA’s success with customer adoption of DocuWare solutions hinges on, among other elements, the close relationship the companies have formed in the region and the enhanced services and extensive support that encourages.
“David Malan, the regional sales director for DocuWare Africa, is a former Ricoh SA employee,” says de Jongh. “Besides the close global co-operation of our two companies and all the benefits that bond provides, we also have an excellent local working relationship that allows us to maximise the benefits we are able to deliver to customers.”
De Jongh adds that, while Ricoh SA lives the values of the company based on what it calls The Ricoh Way, being love your neighbor, love your country, love your work, DocuWare’s values gel perfectly and are also captured in the local business’ operations.
“Our close partnership has become a tight bond based on our shared values that the people of both companies practice in their daily work,” he says.
