Durban, South Africa. Last Thursday, Talksure hosted a prestigious graduation ceremony for 15% of their employees who recently completed various national qualifications. Many, despite family and work pressures, completed up to three full qualifications covering the fields of short-term insurance, sales and customer service to generic management and banking. “Our people have worked incredibly hard over the past year to acquire their NQF level 4 and 5 certificates and we are really proud of the tenacity, determination and perseverance shown. Each of them is another step further in their life-long learning journey and has continued to participate in the big dreams of our Talksure family,” says Magdalene Chetty, Head of Learning and Development.
“One of our values is continuous improvement and this underpins our passion to keep training and learning at the forefront of our employee value-proposition. We really want to make it easy for all our people to gain the skills they require to grow their careers with Talksure and in turn feel equipped and confident to take on the ever-changing requirements of their roles. Furthermore, our passion for development and vision for our people is supported by an amazing team at INSETA and this would not be possible at this scale without them,” explains Chetty.
“At Talksure, we will continue to offer critical skills for our business and industry, creating and innovating in learning and development in order to ensure access to whatever format necessary to enable each and every one of our people to be successful,” Chetty concludes.
