6th Annual Water Stewardship Event which will take place virtually on Tuesday, 17th November 2020 | MyPR.co.za:

MyPR: 6th Annual Water Stewardship Event which will take place virtually on Tuesday, 17th November 2020:

“Good governance for green recovery – stewardship in a post-Covid water sector” is the topic for this year’s by-invitation-only event, which brings together representatives from government, industry, civil society, and development partners to explore how investments in South Africa’s water sector can be leveraged to generate sustained economic growth, employment, and wellbeing.

The event will unpack what achieving robust governance for sustainable recovery entails while simultaneously unpacking the water investments urgently needed to support a post-COVID 19 green recovery. In two consecutive sessions, representatives from the government, private sector, and civil society will debate these important topics and offer different perspectives on implementing solutions.

The conference will be held online. Email info@boostcomms.co.za for more information.

Have you tried: Travelling to South Africa?

Did you know this about Johannesburg? The region surrounding Johannesburg was originally inhabited by San people. They were hunter-gatherers who used stone tools. There is evidence that they lived there up to ten centuries ago. By the 13th century, groups of Bantu-speaking people started moving southwards from central Africa and encroached on the indigenous San population.
